Terms and Conditions

DraftBuddy is provided by Freedom Coast Innovations. By creating an account, joining a workspace, using the website, generating documents, uploading files, or managing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you use DraftBuddy for a company, client, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization and to use DraftBuddy for its business records.

DraftBuddy is intended for business use. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly update information that becomes outdated.

Workspace owners and administrators may manage members, roles, billing, documents, templates, assets, client records, company profiles, usage, and settings. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or workspace permissions.

If you believe your account or workspace has been accessed without permission, email marketing@freedomcoastinnovations.com as soon as possible.

Paid plans may include limits for documents, templates, clients, assets, generations, exports, users, storage, or other features. DraftBuddy may enforce plan limits, lock items that exceed a plan limit, or require an upgrade to continue using paid features.

Billing is handled through Stripe. You may be redirected to Stripe Checkout or the Stripe Customer Portal to subscribe, update payment methods, view invoices, cancel, upgrade, or downgrade.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal but may allow access through the end of the current paid billing period depending on the subscription status shown in DraftBuddy and Stripe.

Refunds, credits, failed payments, taxes, prorations, and billing disputes are handled according to the posted Refund Policy, Stripe records, and applicable law.

You retain ownership of the content you provide to DraftBuddy, including prompts, documents, templates, projects, client records, company profiles, logos, uploads, exports, and other workspace materials.

You grant DraftBuddy permission to process, store, display, transmit, transform, export, and otherwise use your content as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload, store, share, and use any client data, company information, logos, images, files, or other materials in DraftBuddy.

DraftBuddy may use artificial intelligence to generate, transform, summarize, structure, or format business document drafts. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific situation.

DraftBuddy does not provide legal, tax, financial, accounting, insurance, HR, compliance, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing all drafts, calculations, totals, dates, clauses, recipients, and exports before using, sending, signing, filing, or relying on them.

You should obtain qualified professional review when a document may affect legal rights, money, taxes, employment, regulated activity, compliance duties, or important business decisions.

You may not use DraftBuddy for illegal activity, deceptive documents, fake invoices, fake legal notices, fake government documents, impersonation, phishing, spam, malware, harassment, infringement, scraping, reverse engineering, bypassing limits, attacking the service, or interfering with other users.

You may not upload content or request output that you do not have permission to use. You may not use DraftBuddy to create documents that intentionally mislead recipients or misrepresent authority, identity, payment status, legal status, or government affiliation.

DraftBuddy may limit, suspend, or terminate access when needed to address misuse, nonpayment, security risk, legal risk, policy violations, or harm to the service or others.

DraftBuddy relies on third-party providers for parts of the service, including authentication, database, storage, billing, hosting, email, analytics, error monitoring, and AI generation. These providers may process account, workspace, billing, technical, and content data as needed to provide the service.

Stripe controls payment collection and billing portal workflows. Supabase, hosting providers, AI providers, and other service providers may have their own terms, privacy practices, processing rules, availability limits, and security controls.

DraftBuddy uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service, but no online service can be guaranteed completely secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Features may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, migrations, experiments, beta releases, or events outside DraftBuddy's control. DraftBuddy may modify, pause, or remove features as the product changes.

DraftBuddy's handling of personal information, workspace data, support communications, billing information, and service records is described in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy, export, correction, and deletion requests should be emailed to marketing@freedomcoastinnovations.com. DraftBuddy may need to verify your identity, account email, workspace authority, and billing relationship before acting on a request.

For account, billing, product, privacy, security, or legal questions, email marketing@freedomcoastinnovations.com. Include your account email, workspace name, a short description of the issue, and any relevant document, subscription, invoice, or error details.

DraftBuddy does not offer phone support or a support phone number at this time. Support is handled by email only, and the team aims to respond within 1-2 business days.

You may stop using DraftBuddy at any time and may cancel paid subscriptions through the billing tools available in the app or Stripe portal when enabled.

DraftBuddy may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, security issues, policy violations, legal risk, misuse, or conduct that may harm the service, other users, or third parties.

After cancellation or termination, DraftBuddy may retain certain records as needed for backups, billing, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and legitimate business operations.

DraftBuddy and its software, design, branding, workflows, and platform materials are owned by DraftBuddy or its licensors. Users may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse DraftBuddy intellectual property except as permitted by law or written agreement.

DraftBuddy is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, DraftBuddy disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, DraftBuddy and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or document decisions made from AI-generated or user-edited output.

You agree to defend and hold DraftBuddy harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your workspace activity, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of the service.

DraftBuddy may update these Terms as the service, plans, policies, providers, or legal requirements change. When required, DraftBuddy will provide notice through the app, by email, or by updating the effective date on this page.

Continued use of DraftBuddy after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
